Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: (1) analyze and determine employee performance, competency and job satisfaction. (2) knowing the influence of Competency on Employee Performance. (3) determine the effect of Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance. (4) knowing Competencies on Job Satisfaction. (5) find out whether Job Satisfaction can mediate Competency on Employee Performance. The data analysis method used was path analysis and Sobel test with analysis tools using SPSS 25. The population in this study were employees of the UMM Sengkaling Recreation Park using a total sampling approach, namely taking the entire population, namely 44 respondents. The results of this research show (1) Good competency, high job satisfaction, and high employee performance. (2) Competency has a significant positive effect on employee performance. (3) Job Satisfaction has a significant positive effect on Employee Performance. (4) Competency has a significant positive effect on Job Satisfaction. (5) Job Satisfaction can mediate the influence of Competency on Employee Performance.
