Abstract

Waste is a waste material that cannot be used and is one of the sources of environmental pollution. Most of the waste comes from the household environment and factory waste, one of which is tempeh waste and rice waste. Handling to overcome the problem by processing it into liquid organic fertilizer with the main ingredient of tempeh boiled waste water and rice waste as bioactivator in the fertilization process. Liquid organic fertilizer plays a role in providing nutrients to plants so that in this study the results of fertilizers can be applied to green mustard green plants (Brassica Juncea L.), The purpose is to determine the influence of the mixture of tempeh waste water and rice waste in the growth of green mustard plants (Brassica juncea L.). The experimental design used was a complete random design. The results of the study showed that P1,P2 and P3 had a significant influence on the control treatment (P0) on the growth of the number of leaves. In the aspect of the width of the leaves, giving tempeh waste and rice waste and mixtures, it has a significant effect with the control treatment (P0). While in the wet weight aspect, the best treatment that has an influence is P1. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that nutrients are one of the factors that affect the growth of mustard green plants (Brassica Juncea L.). The results of the research can be used as a source of learning biology for High School students in Grade XII of the Odd semester on the main material of Plant Growth and Development Subchapter of Plant Nutrient Elements.
