Abstract

Organizational culture is a shared perception of members about organizational values that are important as shaping and controlling employee attitudes in the company. Research with descriptive quantitative design aims to determine employee perceptions as well as expectations of organizational culture and provide an overview for organizational culture development plans using Cameron and Quinn's OCAI scale. The subject of this research has a population of 265 employees of PT Suri Tani Pemuka (Gresik Unit) with a sample of 105 employees taken using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that employees perceive the dimensions of dominant characteristics, employee management, organizational glue, and success criteria in the clan or family category, while for the dominant leadership dimension employees perceive in the market category that prioritizes results and consumers, and strategic emphasis on the hierarchy category, namely the company is very structured. Furthermore, employee expectations on the six dimensions of organizational culture, employees hope that the organizational culture of PT Suri Tani Pemuka (Gresik unit) is more directed towards the clan category characterized by kinship, leaders who become facilitators and emphasize trust.
