Abstract

Abstract
YouTube is a medium that provides entertainment and can convey educational information to the public. VINDES is here as a YouTube channel with entertaining and educational content. One of the program events held by VINDES is in the field of sports, namely field tennis through the Suddenly Tennis event, a combination of sports and entertainment. Researchers want to know the content of the content analysis of educational messages about tennis on the "TIBA-TIBA TENNIS" event on the VINDES YouTube account.
This research uses the concept of educational messages using Informative Communication Theory which has 2 sub-categories consisting of audio and visual and 3 categories, namely tips, tutorials and discussions. Because in the "Suddenly Tennis" program on the VINDES YouTube account there are educational values ​​regarding the sport of tennis.
This research uses a quantitative research approach through content analysis to explain the results and uses units of measurement per sentence. This research used the help of 2 coders selected with experience in analyzing the content of 1 video with a duration of 4 hours 18 minutes. The data collection technique uses observation of scenes in the "Suddenly Tennis" event and then analyzed by scoring using a Frequency Distribution table. The tests used in this research include testing the validity and reliability of the results of the analysis which have validity of a measure and reliability of measure using the Holsti formula and Scott formula.
The results of this research show that the percentage of educational messages in the Suddenly Tennis event was 10.75%. This research has 3 categories consisting of Tips, Tutorials and Discussions which are divided into 2 sub-categories, namely Audio and Visual. Educational messages in the Audio Tips category were 73.91% and Visual were 32.61%, apart from that, the Audio Tutorial category was 54.35% and Visual was 36.96%. In the Audio Discussion category, it was 80.43% and Visual was 21.74%. Of the 3 categories of educational messages that appeared in the Suddenly Tennis event, it can be concluded that the most common were Audio Discussion educational messages.
