Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence Good Corporate Governance and Environmental Social Governence have on Firm Value in Energy sector companies listed on the IDX in 2018-2022. Good corporate governance can be seen from institutional ownership, managerial ownership, independent commissioners and audit committees. And the ratio that can be used is the application of Environmental Social and Governance values to the company. Company value is identified with the Tobin's Q value. In this study, researchers used the moderating variable Profitability which was proxied by ROA to test the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis with the support of the Smart-PLS 3 program. The research results show that Good Corporate Governance and the implementation of Environmental Social and Governance have no influence on company value, and profitability cannot moderate the influence of Good Corporate Governance on company value, but profitability can strengthen the influence of Environmental Social and Governance on the value of energy companies listed on the IDX in 2018-2022.
