Abstract

Acts of violence in dating violence are acts of violence under the guise of love which can be treatment or threats in the form of physical force or restraint carried out with the intention of hurting, sexually and psychologically attacking another person in a dating relationship. The problems discussed in this research are 1) What are the Forms of Dating Violence in Several Universities in Malang City and Its Regulations in Indonesian Criminal Law? 2) What factors cause dating violence against students in several universities in Malang City in terms of victimology? The aim of the research is to find out the forms of dating violence that occur in several universities in Malang Raya and to find out the factors that cause dating violence to occur by looking at it from the victimology aspect. The method used in this research is juridical-empirical, namely research that emphasizes the facts obtained from research results which are based on scientific methods and are also guided by existing legal theories. The results of the research showed that as many as 330 respondents from several universities in Malang, namely UMM, UB, UNISMA, UIN Malik Ibrahim, UM, and UNMER experienced forms of violence in dating, consisting of First, physical violence in the form of being hit, kicked, strangled, slapped, pushed as hard as possible. exertion, being burned with cigarettes, pulling hair, pinching, being forced to have sex, and sexual harassment. Second, psychological violence in the form of being shouted at, scolded, threatened, terrorized, spat at, insulted, ridiculed, monitored and cell phones tapped. Third, sexual violence includes forced kissing, touching sensitive areas, and rape. Meanwhile, the causal factor is excessive and irrational jealousy.
