PROSES PENYELESAIAN TINDAK PIDANA KEKERASAN SEKSUAL TERHADAP ANAK DALAM KASUS NOMOR REGISTER PERKARA 12/PID.SUS/2023/PN BIL

The cases of sexual violence against children throughout 2022 based on data from the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) recorded 21,241 cases. The number of cases includes cases of sexual violence. Cases of sexual violence against children were recorded by the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) in August 2023 as many as 487 Included the case register number 12/Pid.Sus/2023/PN Bil focussing of the research to be conducted with the title, "The Legal Process in Sexual Violence Crime Against Children In Case Register Number 12/Pid.Sus/2023/PN Bil". This research aims to understand the legal process in sexual violence crime against children in that case. This research is an Empirical Juridical research using a Legal Sociology approach method at the Bangil District Court class 1 B using primary data sources and secondary data sources. Basically, the process of resolving special criminal acts in this case is similar from resolving general criminal acts. However, because this case was delegated by the Panel of Judges at the Bangil District Court to POSBAKUM, there are provisions that regulate limitations in the settlement stage of the prodeo case so that all other cases that are delegated can be handled properly and efficiently. In completing the legal process in this prodeo case at the Bangil District Court, the researcher, who is a paralegal who accompanies the defendant's advocate, played a role in this completing the legal process includes Indictment, Evidence (public prosecutor), Criminal Charges, Plea and Decree.
