Abstract

The Population and Civil Registration Office, as the provider of Population Administration services, strives to provide the best service to the community. Until now, the process of handling population document registrations has been done by directly coming to the office or via WhatsApp. However, registration via WhatsApp is considered less effective, as seen from the decreasing user interaction with the user interface. This is because the application used does not meet the users' expectations for the information system. This has become a problem that needs to be addressed. In view of this, there is a need for updates and innovations in technology development that align with the needs of the community. Researchers then aim to design ease in the document registration process using the User Centered Design method, involving users so that the resulting prototype has a display that suits user needs. Based on the System Usability Scale test results, a score of 90% was obtained, placing it in the A category. The prototype display of this document registration application produces features, layout, a combination of dark blue and light blue colors, and has a good user experience.
