KAJIAN KRIMINOLOGIS TINDAK PIDANA PENCABULAN TERHADAP ANAK DALAM UPAYA PENANGGULANGAN TINDAK PIDANA (STUDI DI WILAYAH HUKUM POLRESTA BANJARBARU)

The rise of criminal acts of sexual abuse against children in the Banjarbaru Police Legal Area with a significant increase in the number of cases. The crime of sexual immorality can happen to anyone, even to children. This research aims to determine and analyze criminological factors and efforts to overcome criminal acts of child molestation in the Banjarbaru Police Legal Area. Data sources include primary and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews and literature studies, followed by qualitative analysis. Based on research, it can be concluded that the factors that influence criminal acts of sexual abuse against children are divided into 2 (two), namely internal factors and external factors, internal factors namely individual factors. Then there are external factors in the form of economic factors, environmental factors and technological factors. The countermeasures carried out by the Banjarbaru Police Criminal Investigation Unit are divided into 3 (three), namely pre-emptive efforts, namely initial efforts to avoid sexual violence, preventive efforts, to prevent sexual violence, repressive efforts after sexual violence occurs, namely providing a strict legal process for the perpetrator. The author's suggestion is that the efforts made by the Banjarbaru Police are further improved to prevent criminal acts of sexual abuse, the public's legal awareness needs to be increased further to assist the Banjarbaru Police in seeking information. The Banjarbaru Police continue to collaborate well with the UPTD for Protection of Children and Women in the city of Banjarbaru to minimize and reduce the number of cases of sexual abuse in the city of Banjarbaru.
