Abstract

A problem that is currently of concern to the Lamongan Regency government is how to eliminate criminal acts of violence against persons that cause adverse impacts in the community. Violence committed by a person either together is increasing and troubling the community and law enforcement officials. This research is interesting to study to find out how the Police's duties in handling criminal acts of violence between martial arts colleges in the Lamongan District Police Law area and what obstacles the police experience in handling criminal acts of violence against people committed together. Furthermore, the research method used is empirical juridical method using data collection techniques with interviews, observation and documentation. The result of this research is that in handling criminal acts of violence between martial arts colleges, the Lamongan Resort Police carry out investigative actions in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) and make efforts to socialize, guard and patrol, dismantle silat monuments and hold silat championships. The obstacles experienced by the Lamongan Resort Police, namely from the penal policy, consist of law enforcement factors and facilities factors, while the obstacles from non-penal policies are facilities factors, community factors and cultural factors.
