Abstract

Women employees in Indonesia experienced a decrease of 3.62%. This is due to the increase in turnover that occurs every year. Turnover can occur due to low organizational commitment. Low organizational commitment can occur because workers experience an imbalance between life at work and personal life outside of work. This research aims to determine the influence of work-life balance on organizational commitment. This research is quantitative using simple linear regression techniques. The subjects in this research were women who were actively working and married who lived in Jombang Regency (N=100). Sampling used purposive sampling. The results of simple linear regression analysis found a sig value. (p=0.001<0.05) and value (β=0.469). This can be interpreted that work-life balance influences organizational commitment. The lower the work-life balance, the lower the organizational commitment. Thus, a balance is needed between personal life and work life.
