IMPLEMENTASI KEBIJAKAN PENANGANAN ANAK JALANAN DI KOTA BATU(Studi Penelitian Dinas Sosial Kota Batu)

This study aims to find out the Implementation of Street Children Handling Policies in Batu City, how the program deals with street children and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors for the Batu City government, especially the Social Service in dealing with street children problems. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by describing and explaining the Implementation of Policies for Handling Street Children in Batu City. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation techniques, interviews. The location of this research is at the Batu City Social Service.
The results of this study indicate that the Batu City Social Service plays a role in dealing with street children. The Batu City Social Service has 3 programs in dealing with street children, namely prevention coaching, follow-up coaching, and rehabilitation coaching. The obstacles faced by the Batu City Social Service in dealing with street children are the absence of special shelters in Batu City, the lack of main facilities and infrastructure, namely social rehabilitation homes or shelters for street children who are caught, and the transport car for street children is not owned by the Office. Social.To protect and guarantee the rights and obligations of street children has become the task of the Batu City Social Service in the field of Social Self-Help by providing assistance to street children through the Family Welfare Constitutional Institution.
