PERAN KECEMASAN SOSIAL DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL TERHADAP MAHASISWA KORBAN PERUNDUNGAN

Conflicts that occur during life will continue to coexist in the environment, which is commonplace and can lead to violence. However, when this violence is carried out repeatedly against the same person, it constitutes bullying. Therefore, this research aims to find out whether there is an influence of social anxiety and emotional intelligence on student victims of bullying. This research uses a quantitative method of correlational study design to determine the influence of social anxiety and emotional intelligence variables on student victims of bullying. The technique used in this research was random sampling with a total of 248 students from private universities and private universities who had been victims of bullying. There are 3 scales used in this research, namely the social anxiety scale, Schutte emotional intelligence scale (SEIS), and Olweus bully/victim questionnaire scale (OBVQ). The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results obtained in this research show that social anxiety simultaneously influences student bullying behavior.
