Abstract

Iskandar Airport is a class II airport located in the city of Pangkalanbun, Central Kalimantan Province. Iskandar Airport, which continues to improve the quality of flight services for the user community, plans to develop runway facilities from 2,120 meters to 2,817 meters. The extension of the 697-meter runway is expected so that wide-body aircraft can land at Iskandar airport, which currently can only be accommodated by type 737-500 aircraft. This final project uses the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) method and the California Bearing Ratio (CBR) method to determine the required thickness of flexible pavement. The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) method produces a total pavement thickness of 44 inches and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) method produces a total pavement thickness of 27 inches. Calculation of RAB ( Budget Plan) for Iskandar Airport Runway pavement work using the FAA method produces a minimum thickness so that the required cost is more economical than using the results of pavement thickness using the CBR method. The total cost required to increase the length of the runway according to the needs of the planned aircraft is Rp. 30,909,649,390,-
