Efektivitas Penyuluhan Media Leaflet Untuk Meningkatkan Pengetahuan Pada Ny. M dengan Keluhan Nyeri Sendi Di Dusun Botoputih Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur

Background: An elderly person is someone who Having entered the age of 60 years and over, several problems that are often encountered in older people are joint pain. Cognitive function in middle age will be affected Knowledge in treating osteoarthritis and level of education will also influence the extent of knowledge about the disease suffered. Joint pain is a form of tissue damage or the potential to cause tissue damage.
Objective: To find out the effectiveness of counseling using leaflets as media
Method: The research in this scientific work uses a case study report with a nursing care approach. Researchers do the giving educational outreach to subjects about joint pain, providing health education materials and media in the form of (Leaflets) containing about joint pain problems. Time and place of research carried out on 7 to 10 October 2022 in Botoputih Sumberpasir Hamlet, Malang Regency.
Results: Counseling conducted on subjects with joint pain was considered effective in assessing the level of knowledge in identifying the problem of joint pain. The counseling applied at each meeting yielded results The subject can understand joint pain, the subject can also understand and adopt a healthy lifestyle to change his lifestyle.
Conclusion: Education is used to increase knowledge of problems in the elderly with joint pain, education that is given correctly, interestingly and easily understood can increase curiosity about the problems they are experiencing. Intervention by providing education using leaflet instruments can attract curiosity significantly
