Abstract

Work safety and health insurance is a protection insurance to employee whether related with physical condition or non-physical relation in working to create a safety, health, and comfort condition in workplace. Basically, when employee felt comfort and safe in doing his/her job, the employee would satisfy and enjoy the work, also doing a good performance. Beside, by the safety and health insurance, the employee would be loyal to the company, since he/she felt the needs of safety and health was fulfilled. This research was a co-relational research between safety and health insurance with work satisfaction. This research aimed to find out about the relation between safety and health insurance to the work satisfaction. Analysis technique used in this research was product moment correlation analysis. Data collection method in this research was scale. Population and sample in this research were the employee of PT PG Krebet Baru I Malang. Population consisted of 295 people and the samples were 78 people. Before the research, the research did try out. The try out research was safety and health insurance scale, there found 29 valid items from 30 items, and in work satisfaction there found 31 valid items from 32 items. The result showed that there was positive significant relation between safety and health insurance with work satisfaction, showed by correlation coefficient r = 0,790 and p = 0,001, this meant that if the safety and health insurance was good, it would be followed by work satisfaction, in the contrary, if the safety and health insurance low, the work satisfaction would be low. The safety and health insurance gave determinant effective contribution r2 = 0,624 (62,4%) to the work satisfaction, and rest of them 38,6% influenced by another factors
