Abstract

This research is about case study of relevant explanation from the result of research with its object, University Inn UMM, addressed in Jalan Raya Sengkaling number 1 DAU Region Malang. This Research with title “Analisis Penerapan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi pada Front Office Department (Studi Kasus pada University Inn UMM ). The objective of this research to analyze the effectivity of Accounting Information System which is conducted by Front office department. Closed area of this research is accounting information system which is conducted by front office department. Data in this research acquired by using documentation and interview method. This research using analysis comparative qualitative method, in order to compares the component accounting information system of front office department with the true component information system theoretically, in order to make an effective accounting information system. The result of research shows that accounting information system of front office department has not been progress effectively. That happens because there are still something left from elements of accounting information system that has not been conducted well. The solution that can given by researcher is every staff of Front Office Department should be had different function for every activity, Front Office should apply the accounting information system by computer based as the support facility of hotel operational, also provides form as the transaction proof enough and completed with assigned number.
