Abstract

Since long time polygamous phenomenon always draw to be discussed. Some times ago, this issue becomes the topic of discussion in so many media, good print and also electronic. Most society, especially woman clan, refusing expressly because polygamy always closes to exploitation and hardness to woman. But by dozens society accepting polygamous practice because of polygamy is Rasul sunah and to avoid deed of adultery. On the way films of Indonesia, this polygamous phenomenon is very rare made by theme in till a wide [screen/sail] film masterpiece. Leave from interest of Nia Dinata in analyzing existing polygamous phenomenon in life of society of class or circle of wherever. Film Berbagi Suami present polygamous life problem in details story which is story about three woman coming from different social class and culture, but third its his experience an is same life side, that is sharing their husband for other woman’s. To water down research process, researcher focused in formula of is problem of that is how woman representation in film Berbagi Suami readying in polygamy and how film Share polygamous Husband construction pass figure of Salma, Siti and of Ming. As for target of which will reach from this research is to interpret woman representation in polygamy in film Berbagi Suami and to know how film Berbagi Suami construction pass figure of Salma, Siti and of Ming. This Research use analysis of semiotic Roland Barthes, which is meaning of conducted sign by 2 levels, and denotation of connotes, without overruling its myth. This Research type is descriptive research, namely depict/ elaborating matter with are there him and also use data qualitative to yield descriptive data in the form of words written or is oral the than me and people which perceived. Method of Semiotic basically has the character of qualitative-interpretative, that is a focused method is self at text and sign as its study object and also how researcher interpret and comprehend code. Scope in this research is to check about woman representations in polygamy which there are in film Berbagi Suami all marking having the character of verbal and non verbal related to searched study as an text. Unit analyze from this research is pursuant to at assumed by scene-scene is researcher have deputized appearance of is existence of good marking in audio and also visual which is diffraction meant, without having an eye to break or eliminate meaning of other scene-scene. From data analysis which have been conducted by researcher can conclude that is in Film of Bebagi Suami is reason of have polygamy to is as a way of to avoid adultery prohibited by Islam, polygamous also happened because reason of eye sex, to gratify passion atmosphere, especially to men side. Polygamous also to get to feel “peacefully" especially in items area so that the happening of social jumping movement of low strata to super ordinate. While woman representation in polygamy at film Berbagi Suami have different character as according to the woman background as according to what have been elaborated by above.
