Lives of college students especially at semester five relevant with overload studies include overload practices, tasks, field task, till PKL. This situation closed student with stress, this matter can avoid by improving social support, improving personal control, stress management focus for the reduction of reaction of stress, meditating, hypnosis, yoga, laugh therapy and humor. To be able to perceive, feeling, or laying humor, someone needs sense of humor. Shuster (2007) finding differences of gender have an effect on to given response by showing difference of woman and man in using and humor appreciations. For that the target of this research is to know relation between senses of humor with stress level at college student evaluated from difference of gender. This research use purposive sampling, sample amount to 100 people, consist of 50 student and 50 coed, with criterion at semester five with minimum SKS 90 SKS (counted with amount to 18 SKS per semester). Data collected by using two scale there are scale sense of humor and scale of stress. While method analyze data used product moment. From result of research which have been done, got conclusion that (r = - 0,005: p = 0,957), no relation between sense of humor with college student stress. Matter this means it college student cannot be determined from it sense of humor had. This matter is assumed happened because not all student use humor to lessen stress faced. Many choices able to be utilized to adapt stress, for example using technique focus problems, and use technique other defenses.
