ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI MODERASI BERAGAMA PERSPEKTIF M. QURAISH SHIHAB TERHADAP GAGASAN REVITALISASI KANTOR URUSAN AGAMA DI INDONESIA

The Ministry of Religious Affairs is rolling out an idea to revitalize the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). This idea proposes the KUA as a place of marriage registration for all religions in Indonesia. So far, the KUA is an institution under the responsibility of the Ministry of Religious Affairs that serves in the religious field and is only for Muslims. However, given that Indonesia is a country of multiculturalism, this idea is highly relevant. This research uses a qualitative method using library research techniques. Researchers will review and describe the concept of revitalizing the KUA as a service center for all religions utilizing the theory of religious moderation from the perspective of Quraish Shihab. All faiths use the theory of religious moderation from the standpoint of Quraish Shihab. The results of this study explain that the idea of revitalizing the KUA as an issue to realize religious moderation is relevant to the theory of Quraish Shihab's aspects of religious moderation, namely aspects of faith, moral aspects, sharia aspects, legal aspects, aspects of community life, political aspects, and state management, economic aspects, and aspects of social relations. economic aspects, and aspects of social relations. All of these aspects become important points because realizing religious moderation through the idea of revitalization can maintain multiculturalism in a safe and peaceful atmosphere, so all of these aspects must exist behind the idea of revitalizing the KUA.
