Abstract

Title of study is roles of Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri (BLK-LN) Toward Distribution of Workforce at PT. IIN ERA SEJAHTERA Lawang-Malang. Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri has important role toward the distribution of workforce in procedural and training also education in BLK-LN, work force placement technique overseas, workforce candidate profil, and problem faces by BLK-LN. From the result of this study it is noted that workforce candidate in Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri PT. IIN ERA SEJAHTERA Lawang-Malang. Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri (BLK-LN) has several roles that is (1) giving motivation, training and informal education for work force which is going to work overseas: and (2) workforce candidate placement which is going to be departed should have appropriate skills in possession. Processes done by Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri (BLK-LN) must meet the firm requirement classification accord with organization procedures. Training and education of Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri (BLK-LN) consists of Language education of Mandarin, taining of Penata Laksana Rumah Tangga (PLRT) that consist of baby sitting practice, food processing (tata boga) practice, tata graha practice, serving (tata hiding) practice, elder nursing practice and laundry practice. Profile existed in Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri (BLK-LN) consist of workforce candidate mostly has elementary edication (70%), workfore candidate carry junior high school education (15%) while workfoce candidate bear senior high (15%). For workforce destination is South East countries (such as Taiwan, hongkong, Singapore and Malaysia). Kind of occupation before they work as female worker (TKW) is housewife (80%). Unemployment (10%), and household assistance (10%), mostly was hired to work in destanition countriy as baby sitter. In this experiment we could view the success rate of Balai Latihan Kerja Luar Negeri PT. IIN ERA SEJAHTERA Lawang-Malang for training and education, where the number workforce traine during 2005-2009 periods is 2850 person, though until recently the amount is gradually decreasing. Based on the above result, BLK-LN is suggested to gain more instructors and training and education, be more awerw and selective toward the selection of workforce candidates, and they might add educational material about personal ethic sich as religion, working motivation and discipline, also working relationship.
