Abstract

In Indonesia, public concern about abortion is still lacking. Thought community about abortion only focused on the causes of abortion themselves. Even more alarming today in society or in the victim's family in particular, they are more interested in solutions of pregnancy outside marriage problems without thinking about what impact that would occur The post-abortion. The point is that most of the people more interested in name better than what their families will be experienced by the subject abortion. Lack of knowledge about what impact caused after the abortion, such as risk physical safety and psychological disorders raises the risk of emergence of the idea that abortion is the right solution for the problems of pregnant out of wedlock. Whereas thought it was wrong, and therefore knowledge of the background effects abortion is considered important for the people .. This study used descriptive qualitative approach that produced data for diagnose. Subjects in this study are adult women who have abortions, with intentionally perform an abortion and the subject has never been married. This study uses interview methods, and psychological tests (tests Graphic). The validity of the data using triangulation technique with the source and method of assay. From the research found that the background is the subject of abortion is influenced by internal factors (the behavior of selfish egocentrism, lack subjects in having children and maintaining household and not ready to meet needs his own life, the emergence of anxiety self-destructive image and parents and fear of punishment from parents) As external factors (presence support abortion and pressure from the family because they do not approve of the subject relationship with her partner and parent rejection of the fetus in the abdomen of the subject, factors family economics, and social environment that instructs the subject to subject to have an abortion. As for the effects of abortion affect the physical condition of the subject. Subjects often complained of dizziness in certain conditions, often suffer from abdominal pain due to menstruation is not regularly, and had decreased appetite problems. The second is the influence of cognition, ie the subject can not forget his behavior when making decisions to have an abortion. Sometimes it comes back memories on the subject of abortion doing, experiencing feelings of guilt towards herself and the surrounding environment in particular family. Third is the effect on behavior, where the subject is often avoided if there is something that forced him to recall the events of the abortion. The fourth is to influence the emotions of the subject. Subjects often cry alone without apparent reason when considering event such abortions.
