Abstract

DIKY SEPDIYANTO, 02620264, 2007, "Analysis of the Value For Money To Improve Accountability In Mojokerto City Government" Department of Accounting, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Supervisor: 1. Dra. Ratna Utami, MM, 2. Drs. A. Waluyo Teak, MM This study is a case study in Mojokerto City Government with the title "Analysis of the Value For Money To Improve Accountability In Mojokerto City Government. " The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which accountability Mojokerto City Government has been managed well and improving management's role in realizing value for money. The analysis tools are the financial ratios is the ratio of economy, effectiveness and efficiency ratio to measure the value for money and self-sufficiency ratio, the ratio of activity and growth ratio to measure the ability of local financial and analytical accountability. Based on the description above, authors may recommend that the City of Mojokerto able to demonstrate good financial performance, improving public services and involving internal and external stakeholders in order to create a transparent system of governance, value for money and accountability.
