Abstract

A model device of basket represent one playing device that have used technology. This device was completed by automation system opened and closed the door of ball barrier, timer, numerator of score. But so far the model device exist in the entertainment place only be functioned just to play, there was no study substance for user. Because of a model device in Time Zone was not loocked how job manner of automation opened and closed the door of ball barrier and component electronic from that device. By seeing a model device of basket existed, hence can be developed it function. In this planning of model device will have different function compared with a device in Time Zone. Furthermore will be indicated a work step, mechanic form of opened and closed the door of barrier and connecting electronic component. Thus purposed to user able to play and study to know technology. Basic principle of mechanic system at the barrier of a model device of basket was rotation movement. Rotation movement to a fixet wick (not moved), that was rotation movement without translation movement. The door of ball barrier was moved by engine that was transmitted by gear belt to gear wheel 2 that moving shaft as pillar the door of barrier. When started button was pressed, engine would moving the door of barrier closing by pushing until switch limited was touched and engine will be stopped. The ball goes down ready to be thrown to the basket ring. After the time was over that 2,5 minutes, engine live to move the door until switch limited was touched, engine stopped then door blocked the ball would be down.
