Exploiting of mud lapindo as brick raw material has many done by inter alia : Wahyudi (2006), Rofikatul (2007), and Fariska (2008), But expansion of barium brick mud lapindo as wall structure have never been checked. For the purpose compiler does research about exploiting of mud lapindo at brick wall to know mud mixture brick wall shear strength lapindo and conventional brick wall to various thick spacing mortar. This research haves the character of experiment, Fairish specimen ± 50´ 50cm counted 8 of mud barium brick wall and 8 of brick wall without mud. In this research independent variable consisted of various thick spacing mortar 1,5cm ; 2cm ; 2,5cm ; 3cm and variable depends on it is brick wall shear strength. From result of research shows the biggest shear strength yielded at brick wall happened at thick spacing mortar 3cm while at thick spacing mortar 1,5cm is gotten result of low shear strength. Result of the biggest shear strength at brick wall lapindo = 7,75 kg/cm 2 and at conventional brick wall equal = 7,22 kg/cm 2 . Result of shear strength compares straight to usage various thick spacing mortar 1,5 3cm because tie energy power working for mortar and brick to gain strength. Both this brick walls is including structural wall category because shear modulus yielded exceeds condition of shift factor (> 0,50) and applicable to building.
