Abstract

The microcontroller has been applied on the electrical act of planning since microcontroller has system of management and control which are automatic and efficient. The effectiveness of microcontroller is effectively needed by human for supporting their life as well as on the production process or daily life. Nowadays, the function of microcontroller has significantly developed on the sector of industry such as the ignition system of vehicle. Some kinds of ignition system such point of contact (Platinum), electronic ignition, CDI and a computerized system ignition. Basically, the principles of all ignition systems are the same which cut the electric current from the primary coil suddenly. As the result, magnetism around the coil lost quickly. Hence, the induction of high voltage occurs on the secondary coil, and then the secondary voltage is connected to the high voltage wire until it sparks on the spark plug. The purpose of devising this tool is to know t how CDI produce spark accurately by applying the microcontroller AT89S51, to control the time for burning in the internal combustion engine.
