Self-adjustment toward rule referred to santri’s self-ability in balancing nurture of them and rule of environment where they lived in this case pondok-pesantren, thus there would be an appropriate between them and their environment. Individual self-adjustment based on any factors, such as personality, referred to type of introvert and extrovert personality. This study purposed to find out The Difference of Self-Adjustment toward Rule among New Santri and Type of Introvert and Extrovert Personality in Pondok-Pesantren Nurul—Hakim in Kediri Village Lombok Barat. The research was non-experimental research using quantitative approach based on the data that consisted of number and symptom being number. Research populations were all female santri of first grade Tsanawiyah (Junior High School) in Pondok Pesantren Nurul Hakim. The researcher applied random sampling technique using sample of 70 new santri. The research instrument referred to test tool of Eysenck’s Personality Inventory (EPI) that were standardized and self-adjustment scale toward rule using validity test of product moment and moving reliability from 0.7847 – 0.8516. The data analysis technique used t-test, where it showed that about (t= 4.018 and p = 0.000) of significant level 5%, meaning that there was significant difference of self-adjustment toward rule between introvert and extrovert santri. In this case, santri of extrovert personality got higher self-adjustment (good) (179.30) than santri of introvert personality (161.17).
