ehavior of stigma and discrimination to provide an influence on the ODHA. A person infected with HIV is considered a moral offender. So that in daily life to make a ODHA feel that people become marginalized. Lack of knowledge of the community and especially ODHA be triggered. That lead to coping behaviors used. This makes the ODHA transmit it to other people. Research using this approach with quantitative methods to survey 30 sample ODHA. Population 140 is accompanied by the ODHA Sadar Hati Foundation. Selection method with the cluster sampling random sampling. Collecting data of this research is done with the survey carried out directly on 15- 9-2008 to 18-9-2008. Collecting data on the subject of research carried out by using the sheet. Method of data analysis using the Percentage. Frequency divided by the number of samples multiplied by 100%. Results obtained and analysis performed. Research sample have an average knowledge to understand the behavior patterns transmit HIV. Coping strategies in the election still prevent ODHA to start with other people. ODHA still tend to use emotionally focused coping with the stand in as any circumstances. While the problem focused coping strategies. ODHA still in the stage of seeking support and problem-solving plan in stages. Sample research has not started to solve the problems faced
