Abstract

Rayz UMM Hotel Malang is part of the Business Unit of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) which is engaged in tourism, especially in hospitality. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the scheduling of events carried out by companies, to analyze schedules using network planning, and to determine the optimal schedule between scheduling based on companies and scheduling using network planning. In this study, researchers used network planning analysis techniques and the Critical Path Method (CPM). This evaluation is carried out based on company policy and scheduling using network planning. Scheduling results based on company policy for event preparation produce a duration of 58 days. While the results of scheduling using network planning produces a duration of 49 days. In addition, the results of scheduling are based on company policy for holding events for 8 hours and 20 minutes, while scheduling using network planning for 7 hours and 40 minutes. This is a difference between the two results. Scheduling using network planning is more optimal than using scheduling based on company policy. Although the difference is not much different, using network planning can optimize time. Suggestions that can be given to companies should be able to schedule using network planning for scheduling events.
