Abstract

This research is survey research type with title “The Effect of Compensation Toward Job Satisfaction of Employee at PT. Telkom Kancatel Bangkalan”. The objective of this research is to find out giving of financial and non financial compensation of employee PT Telkom Kancatel Bangkalan. Secondly, to find out job satisfaction of employee PT Telkom Kancatel Bangkalan. And thirdly, to find out whether financial and non financial compensation has effect toward job satisfaction of employee. The analyzer used in this research is Double Linear Regression that is to find out significant influence between financial and non financial compensation toward job satisfaction through F test and t test, whereas to find out which variable has stronger influence, hence used partial correlation value. Validity and reability test used to test questioner. The result of research indicated that giving financial and non financial compensation at PT Telkom Kancatel Bangkalan was good. This was proven by average scored was obtained from total variable of financial compensation (X1) as 116 at scale range 93 – 123 or it can be told that financial compensation value was good, and variable scored average of non financial compensation (X2) as 126,3 at scale range 124 – 155 or it can be told that non financial compensation was very good. This is shows by satisfaction of employee toward salary, THR, health insurance, facility, duty clothes, interesting job and facility of praying place was given and provided by the firm. This is proven by employee total average of employee job satisfaction as 119,5 at scale 93 – 123. The result of double linear regression with financial and non financial compensation variable as free variable (X1 and X2) and variable of employee job satisfaction as tied variable (Y) obtained Y = 11,491 + 0,493 X1 + 0,784 X2 + e with value of R square 0,519, from result of F test obtained value of F count as 21,054 > value of F table 3,32 so that H0 refused and Ha accepted that means variable of financial and non financial compensation has significant effected toward job satisfaction of employee. From the analysis result of t test was obtained that value of t count X1 as 3,612 > t table as 2.042, whereas value of t count X2 as 4,838 > t table as 2,042.
