Aditia Novita Sari, 2023, 201910030311001. Implementation of Good Mining Practice in the Employment Sector in an Effort to Increase Employee Welfare (Study of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Site Sangatta)
Good Mining Practice is a requirement in the rules of good and correct mining activities from the beginning to the end of the process of managing minerals by ensuring work safety while maintaining surrounding environmental conditions and accommodating the hopes and participation of local communities in creating sustainable development using appropriate technology. The discussion of this research is as follows: 1) How does the implementation of Good Mining Practice affect the employment sector of PT employees. Epiroc Southern Asia Site Sangatta?. 2) How is Good Mining Practice Implemented in the Employment Sector of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Site Sangatta?. The aim of the research is to find out and explain the implementation of Good Mining Practice in the employment sector of PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Site Sangatta in improving employee welfare. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type, the location of this research is PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Site Sangatta. The subjects in this research were Project Manager, Project Leader, Banlaw FMS Project Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Operation Supervisor, SHEQ Officer, General Affairs, Warehouse Foreman, Admin and Service Planner. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of Good Mining Practice in the field of employment in an effort to improve employee welfare at PT. Epiroc Southern Asia Site Sangatta. From the results of observations that have been made, there are several factors that influence employee welfare, which include: 1) Providing salaries with the aim of employees being able to meet their daily needs. 2) employment social security which aims to provide health insurance for employees and their families obtained from the Company. 3) work facilities aimed at carrying out and expediting the implementation of work. 4) the work environment where employees carry out work activities every day. The work environment in a company is an important factor in improving employee performance so that employee work productivity is created.
