Abstract

Class of acceleration have become governmental program, as according to UU RI No. 20 Year 2003 concerning System Education Of National Chapter IV Section 5 Article 4 that is: " Citizen owning intelligence potency and special talent is entitled to obtain; get special education". Although there are regulation of government concerning system education class of acceleration, but there are some schools which still refuse to open class of acceleration because isn't it negative impact of him to growth of child sosio-emosional, expense performing of class acceleration too costly, and the limited instructor interest and also appropriate curriculum device for to talented child. Like management acceleration in SMU. At a period to this a child are residing in at adolescent age. A period to where a child is expanding to look for spirit and learn to make decision by x’self for x'self. Achievement Motivation is motivation in individual x'self referring to existence of expectancy that action which is appliance to reach result which better than result which have reached before all, competing and excelling others, overcoming barricade, and also look after the spirit learning the highness. Initiative alone is an effort or action or ability conducted to prepare x'self in taking stages; steps in the effort process attainment of target. While others initiative is an initiative steming or coming or blaze from outside others ideas or own self. Pursuant to problems and idea which have been elaborated above, researcher interest to study farther in the form of research which poured in title “Difference of Achievement Motivation to Student Following Class of acceleration Of Initiative Alone with Initiative Others". Formula of problem of him is do there are difference of motivation have student achievement to following class acceleration of initiative alone with others initiative. This Research type is quantitative, where the population of is SMAN 3 Worse luck with the amount of him 42 student, with detail of student following class of acceleration pursuant to initiative alone counted 23 students and following class of acceleration pursuant to others initiative counted 19 students. Technique data collecting use technique and scale analyze data use test of t-test. Result analyze data prove that there is difference of motivation have achievement to which isn't it (t = 3.754; sig = 0.001) between student following class of acceleration of initiative alone with others initiative. Where student following class of acceleration of higher initiative by x’self (X1 = 168.26) compared to student following class acceleration of others initiative (X2 = 147.09).
