Emotional intelligence is the most important provision in preparing the boy facing the future, because with one's emotional intelligence can succeed in meghadapi all kinds of challenges, including challenges to succeed academically. There are five indicators of emotional intelligence is self recognizing emotions, managing emotions, motivating yourself sediri, recognize the emotions of others, and foster relationships. The first opportunity to establish the elements of emotional intelligence lies in the earliest years, although this capability continues to form throughout the school. One means to enhance emotional intelligence is the traditional game, because with traditional games children are trained to better control your emotions when a winner and when we have to accept defeat, not quick to anger when playing with friends, do not despair quickly if not successful, the child learn to socialize with friends different ages and characters, and understand others. Besides the traditional game is important for the motor, socialization, and can trigger self-confidence and enthusiasm to learn many things. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. While collecting data in this study using interview and observation. The subjects used in this study is to have 6 children who have the characteristics of children aged 7-9 years old, living in villages and rural tambakan Ngaringan Gandusari Blitar district, still perform the traditional game. Children aged 7-9 years who still do the traditional game in the District of Blitar Gandusari to recognize emotions themselves well so has the awareness to recognize the feeling when that feeling occurs. all children to manage emotions so that feelings can be revealed by fitting. Five children can motivate yourself with good and four children recognize the emotions of others. All children have good skills in developing relationships with the surrounding environment so that children more sociable and popular.
