This research is motivated by the ability to write reports observations fourth grade elementary school students Muhammadiyah I Malang is still low. Observation results show most students are still less capable of writing reports on the results of observation, namely in developing ideas, keruntutan sentences, and precision EYD. One contributing factor is the strategy of applied learning in the classroom teachers tend oriented textbook and lecture method. Permasalahanya is how the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model to enhance students 'skills in writing reports and observations in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation and how to increase students' skills in writing reports and observations by using cooperative strategies STAD model. This study aims to enhance students' skills in writing reports and observations by using cooperative strategies STAD model. In accordance with the issues and objectives that have been formulated, then this study would be useful to teachers, students, readers and researchers. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The design applied is a class action. This research was conducted in the fourth grade elementary school Muhammadiyah I Malang, while the subjects of this study is the fourth grade elementary school students Muhammadiyah I Malang as many as 23 students and teachers of Indonesian language and literature. This research data in the form of teacher behavior and student learning in the process of writing the report the results of observations with models STAD cooperative strategy and report siswa.Data written observations were obtained by observation techniques, documentary techniques or study documentation, interviews, technical tests and tasks. The instrument used in the form of observation guides, cassette, tape recorder or a tape recorder, digital camera, assessment rubrics and assessment guidelines for the learning activities of students write in progress, and the questions. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative methods. The analytical techniques used is the reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and vertifikasi. This research is collaborative in the sense of researchers assisted by the Indonesian language and literature teacher and the two observers. The results of this study show that with cooperative learning ability of students in developing ideas, formulation of a coherent sentence, and accuracy in writing report writing EYD observations increasing from cycle to the next cycle. The report observed that students become more well written, complete, the composition of successive paragraphs from one sentence to another sentence, as well as proper pattern gagasanya development. Improving the ability of these students is done by applying other forms of effective learning, fun, and cooperate with each other.
