Abstract

This research was conducted to determine what factors are considered consumers in the purchase of Filter Cigarettes Cengkir Ivory Surya. Another objective of this research is to know where the dominant factor that consumers consider the purchase of Filter Cigarettes Cengkir Ivory Surya. The analytical tool used in this study is factor analysis. Based on factor analysis of 16 variables can be reduced to 4 factors with an eigenvalue value greater than 1,000. The newly formed 4 factors by the factor of product attributes, promotion, distribution, and brands. From the results of the analysis, it can be seen that the factor of product attributes have the greatest total variance that is equal to 23.704%, higher than the other three factors. Then concluded that the factors considered product attributes considered most consumers in the purchase of Filter Cigarettes Cengkir Ivory Surya. Based on the above conclusions, peneiti to imply, that the company should pay more attention or increase the density of contents in cigarettes, the price of cigarettes in a pack of cheap, strong pack of cigarettes, cigarette length, number of cigarettes as much as 12 sticks in a pack in addition to the design inscription on the cigarette that is easy to read, mostly broadcast cigarette advertising on radio, name of an existing factory on cigarette packs, the number of cigarettes attached pamphlet diwarung-shop is also worth noting, but it is easy to get cigarettes diwarung small shops, a cigarette is a local product, the number of cigarette seller. and easy to remember brand name, as well as ease of brand name pronounced.
