Social adjustment is a person's ability to adapt to other people in general and against the group in which individuals identify with these individuals in accordance with the wishes of the self and the demands of society and be able to play a role in the social environment which is reflected in the form of the behaviors as a response against the demands of the environment. Middle adulthood or middle-aged will face many changes, both in terms of physical or psychological. This period is a stage of decline that may affect attitudes and behavior such as, embarrassed, awkward and sometimes confused. This research is a qualitative research study which is a procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken of the people and observed behavior. Data collection techniques in this research is to use the interview method. The subjects of this study was 2 (two) mid adult women (ages 40-60 years) who have not married. The validity of data using triangulation techniques. From the results of research on social adjustment they can make good adjustments if they are in the midst of family, relatives and friends who already understand will be a state subject. While the subjects felt less able to adapt when faced with problems involving couples in their lives. So the subject was always trying to adjust to neutralize the anxiety that is felt way with frequent invite partners to accompany subject to attend formal occasions, trying to want to open up when there is someone who tries to find a mate for the subject.
