Abstract
This research to investigate students` accounting motivation for choosing a job as entrepreneur and public accountant. And also, to investigate students` motivation to choosing a big job as a job. The motivation was used achievement motivation theory by Mc. Clelland. In this theory, human needs separated as need for achievement, need for power, and need for affiliation.The result of this research shows the students` were choosing as entrepreneur is depand on need for achievement motivation, and the students` were choosing as public accountant is depand on need for affiliation motivation. The final result shows the motivation in choosing a job as entrepreneur is more than public accounting.
