Abstract

Efforts to improve service for the public transportation needs of the community to make the government make policy even distribution of city transport routes to all areas of the city Bojonegoro to reach all residential areas. This indirectly causes in some cities experienced transportation route mileage and route directions collide, requiring an evaluation to determine the efficiency of route-level transit route city. Method of survey carried out by means of transportation as well as participate in a specific location points along the route. Route under consideration is the route lyn lyn A and E. Level of transport efficiency is obtained from interviews of both passenger and driver route. The data analysis conducted on the operational time, the driver's income, travel speed, questionnaires to passengers and the driver, vehicle operating costs, as well as load factor, the public transportation route review. Distance public transportation routes lyn lyn A and E is along the 14 km and 15 km. Results of questionnaires to passengers lyn A showed 42.4% consider that route lyn A is the appropriate route distance-time and 54.3% consider that route lyn A is still an efficient route. While the questionnaires to the passengers lyn E states 43.8% consider that route lyn E is the appropriate route distance-time and 52.5% consider that route lyn E represents an efficient route. According to the driver's perception, the average net income of the driver's route lyn is Rp 65,300, - and the average route driver lyn E had net revenue of Rp 60,900, - every day. Meanwhile, according to the calculation of vehicle operating costs incurred and the rates should apply, the benefits of driver and or transportation entrepreneur lyn A is Rp 212,186.88 per day and USD $ 159,769.5 to route lyn E. The income is more than minimum wage value Bojonegoro (2007), Rp 550.000, - per month. Or Rp 22,000, - per day. Load factor of trips per route lyn A of 133.9% and 122.4%, to stretch lyn E.
