Abstract

This research is a type of case study research using descriptive method, that describe and explain the problems the subject under study, and then solved on the basis of generally accepted scientific concept. The title of this research is "SWOT Analysis On PT. Selecta Stone ". The purpose of this study was to describe factors that influence whether the strategy of PT. Selecta Stone SWOT analysis. " Peneiliti analytical tool used to obtain the results of the research goal is to use analysis Strength Weakness Opportunity Threat or SWOT, that is by first identifying factors external and internal environment, both internal factors enter into the matrix IFAs and external factors to EFAS in the matrix, the three results from IFAs and EFAS matrix included in the SWOT matrix to determine the position of the company and know the strategies that can be applied. The results showed that the factors affecting the company's strategy is based on the SWOT internal factors include adequate facilities, at affordable prices, geographical conditions, has 400 workers, less than optimal promotion, distribution channels, improper staffing, financial performance is less good. External factors include the level of economic growth, Law No.25 and No.25 of 1999, inflation rate, political stability, new arrivals, the strength of competitors, and the rise of a replacement product. Based on the above conclusions, the writer implies that the company should improve the quality of service to visitors, encouraging visitors to enjoy the facilities offered, improve promotion, expand the marketing area, and add facilities.
