Classification is one of the important asfect for children in their cognitive development, so they can identify some of pattern characteristic and classify something based on the characteristic similarities. Pre-School children are in preoperational cognitive depelopment, which they think egocentrictly, seeing the out life based on their self views by their understanding. Pre-School children classify the object just in one asfect their seeing. They don’t have capability to classify something more than one dimension. So, the service and habitual stimulations early for doing to pre-school childrens are necessary. One of the method can be done for exercising of children in classification capability are by constructive game. It will improve the hard and soft motoric capability, understanding of colour, form and measurement, deligence, and consentration in pattern assignment. Constructive will also excercise children cognitive for thinking logically. Constructive activity also help in problems solving skill and coordination. For that, this research aim is to understand the improving of classification capability in pre-school children by constructive game method. This research use pretest-posttest experiment method by measuring in servicing and control group. The subject are preschool childrens which their age about 4-5 years old. The data submitted by three chategory, they are the classification test, constructive game and observation as long as the research. The data are gotten for 16 childrens, which 8 children are as experiment group subject, and 8 others as control group subject. And analizing of data use the independent sample t-test counting by SPSS program version 13.00 for windows. The result of analizing show that the minimize (-) delta result from control group by the -18 point are 3 subject, and min (-) delta from experiment group are 0 subject. Then the result of t are -4,615 in 0,000 level significancy, that means if the point of significancy less than 0,005. In this case, the requirement of the differency if the significancy less than 0,05. So, this is show that there are the difference of classification capability between control group subject who don’t get the service and the experiment group subject that are serviced by constructive game. So, the constructive game method can help for improving the pre-shool children capability in classification.
