Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of exports, imports and investment on economic growth in South Sulawesi Province. The type of data used is secondary data in the form of quantitative numbers, time series data from 2013 to 2022. This research mostly uses supporting data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This research uses multiple linear regression analysis methods, namely Statistical Tests. The data was processed using the Eviews – 12 application. From the results of this research it is known that: 1) Exports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in South Sulawesi Province; 2) Imports have a negative and significant effect on economic growth in South Sulawesi Province; 3) Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in South Sulawesi Province; 4) Domestic Investment (PMDN) has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in South Sulawesi Province. The research results show exports with a t test value of 0.0341 < 0.10, imports with a t test value of 0.6798 < 0.10, foreign direct investment (PMA) with a t test value of 0.4728 < 0.10, and domestic investment domestic (PMDN) with a t test value of 0.1959 < 0.10. The final research results show that Exports, Imports and Investment do not simultaneously have a significant effect on Economic Growth.
