Abstract

This study is descriptive with the title "Analysis of Balanced Scorecard in Performance Assessment of PT Enchantment Young Malang". This research is based because there are limitations in the traditional performance measures that focus solely on financial performance thus giving rise to a new approach to the Balanced Scorecard. This measurement is looking at performance from four perspectives, namely financial perspective, customer, internal business processes and learning and growth. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the performance of PT Enchantment of Malang Adolescent health when measured by the method of Balanced Scorecard (BSC). Methods of data collection is done by way of documentation and interviews. While the data analysis technique used is the horizontal analysis (Time Series) is the analysis that compares the ratio of financial, customer, internal business, and learning and growth from one period to another period. From the results of research conducted to note that the PT. Enchantment of Malang Teens otherwise good overall. It can be shown in their respective perspectives. In the financial perspective as measured by the NPM and the ROI has increased, although its Sales Growth declined in 2005 but in this case because the increase in sales that occurred in 2004 not as big increase in sales that occurred in 2005. Customer perspective, although the indicator has decreased but the Customer Acquisition Customer Retention, On Time Delivery, and the Number of Complain have increased from year to year. On the internal business process perspective and Yield Rate MCE indicator has increased from year to year. And on learning and growth perspective although Employee Turn Over indicator declined slightly in 2005, yet another indicator of Employee Absenteeism Productivity has increased and decreased. Based on the above conclusions, the authors recommend to the PT. Teens Enchantment of Malang to use the Balanced Scorecard method to measure performance.
