Abstract

This research represent the research deskrptif with the method survey. This research entitle the " Consumer Motif in Decision of Purchasing and Usage of Hand and Body Lotion of study Image at Student of Economics Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Malang " internal issue Formula this research is Motif of What more dominant between emotional variable and rational variable in decision of purchasing and usage of product of Hand and Body Lotion Image at Student of Economics Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Target of this research is to know the Motif of what more dominant in decision of purchasing and usage of Hand and Body Lotion Image at Student of Economics Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Malang. In this research is researcher use the sampel of counted 100 responder that is responder buying and hence Hand and Body Lotion Image, and the responder really representing of Student of Economics Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Malang from year generation 2004-2008. Data type needed in this research is primary data. That is first data multiply obtained isdirect the than the data research location represent the result from at spreading of quisioner to responder. To analyse the data which have been obtained by a researcher use the validity test, test the reliability and analyse it use the test of t test. Pursuant to research result which have been conducted by researcher of hence inferential that more dominant motif in decision of purchasing and usage of Hand and Body Lotion Image at Student of Economics Faculty Muhammadiyah University of Malang is rational motif. From examination result conducted by researcher dangan use the test of t tes obtained by a knowable result that different test value for the masing of - masing of perception day at statistical examination of inferensi or statistical of parametrik by conducting different examination two mean, that is paired samples t-test. Result of the statistical test indicate that the t-hitung of equal to - 2,232 compared to by smaller of t-tabel of equal to - 1,984 or assess with the probability of equal to 0,028 < 0,05. With this result, hence Ho refused, or there are difference which signifikan of mean of wearer of hand body lotion Image with the emotional and rational motif.
