Religious day’s commemorations are an attention-grabbing topic for news, because it have related with the actuality and proximity of society. Definitely, all mass media always report it in any single point of view. Mass media is a nonaligned side, based on that supposed to be all religious days have same part and same position. And every single mass media have their means to present it. There is one moment which withdraws from religious day’s commemoration that is occasion time of commemoration. There are some religions which have its celebration time each other bunching up. Namely Idul Adha on 8 December 2008, Christmas Day on 25 December 2008, New Year of Hijriyah (Islam calendar) on 29 December 2008, also New Year of Imlek (China calendar) 26 January 2009. Television is the most attractive media and the most consumed because its audio visual feature. News construction on television more intricate rather than newspaper or magazine, because analyzing text is oral text and news video which it’s active and more dynamic than print media. Obviously, news room decisions for it will emerge a definite connote. Derived from that reason, researcher wants to analysis Banjar Tv’s demeanor when they are produce the Religious day’s commemorations news. This research type is interpretative qualitative and model analysis used Norman Fairclough, Critical Analysis Discourse. It combined text analysis tradition with society context that is text, discourse practice, socio cultural practices. Researcher recorded the news and then analyzed the oral text which spoken by presenter, and after that simplified written into table which bilingual are Banjaries and Indonesian. Moreover, researcher had been already observation to news room, also interview some reporters, cameraman’s, and audiences. The verity of news program “Habar Si Utuh lawan Si Diyang”, Banjar Tv showed diverse angle toward every religious days. For Idul Adha, New Year of Hijriyah, and New Year Of Imlek dominant appear about the activities which ritualistic and euphoria people to celebrate it. Nevertheless, the inherent of the day is still neglect by them, so just ceremonial impressive. While Christmas, Banjar Tv just showed economic condition which diminish the Christian to celebrate Christmas. However, Islam still has bigger segment rather than other religion. The result of this research could be conclude, socio cultural practice is the dominant factor which is influencing Banjar Tv’s news room, whether institutional or social. Even though the owner is non-Islam and non-Banjaries but they are still following the mainstream or the most ideology of their audiences. They have done it because this is their marketplace. As a new local television, it has to be bright to make a shrewd strategy for persuading the audiences. Afterward sponsorships will magnetize to come to Banjar Tv and advertise well. For your information, the audiences watched this program under reason the funny presenter not because really want to know the news.
