Abstract

This study was conducted base on upbringing the learning technique and method which give chance to students to study actively, through combining method and technique which change teacher-centered learning to student-centered. SAVI approach through Accelerated Learning method is one of learning methods which focused on student’s activity. Game usage in learning process is also focused on student’s activity. Combination of these method and technique create a learning process consist of teaching, attempt students to find concept of learning by themselves, group work, and games which give new innovation in learning process. The purpose of this study is to know student’s activity during teaching-learning process, learning achievement which measured by test result in the end of learning process, and student’s respond through SAVI learning approach in Accelerated Learning method. The subjects of this study were the students of SLTPN 1 Dringu class VIII-F. In conducting this study the writer used descriptive qualitative research design. The data were collected by observation, test, and questionnaire. The instruments of the study used were observation form, test, and questionnaire. Derived from 2 meetings analysis, the result of the study showed that teacher’s activity was in very good with average percentage of 93,3%. Student’s activity all was good with the average percentage of 68,5%. Percentage of student’s achievement was 77,5% contain of 31 students accomplished and 9 students did not accomplish in learning process. Whereas, student’s respond of this study showed positive remark with answering “yes” for 91,25%.
