This research aim want to know: ( 1) Activity student in study of mathematics by using method of SQ4R through approach of contextual, ( 2) Complete learn student by using method of SQ4R through approach of contextual, ( 3) which Method study is which is better between method of SQ4R through]approach of contextual with conventional study. Research type is research of experiment by using approach qualitative and quantitative. Data to be taken in this research is data concerning student activity and data result of learning student. While becoming obyek in this research is class student of VIIIA and class of VIIIB SMP Muhammadiyah XI Rogojampi with Linear System Equation items Two Variable. For the technique of data collecting, researcher use and observation of tes. Technique analyse the data of using technique qualitative for activity and complete learn student by using method of SQ4R through approach kontekstual, while for quantitative technique result of him analysed to use equality test two mean constructively program of SPSS version 14.0 . Result research indicate that: ( 1) Activity student by using method of SQ4R through approach of kontekstual earn good isn't it. (2) Student have reached complete learn at study of mathematics by using method of SQ4R through approach of kontekstual Linear System Equation items Two Variable. ( 3) Method of SQ4R through approach kontekstual more either from conventional study.
