Abstract

Media information more and more television programs give a choice to viewers. This phenomenon indicates that lately, television shows increasingly widespread with the presence of the TV we entertainment in the form of soap operas that bernuansakan sitcom. Starting from the phenomenon, the author interested in studying about the satisfaction felt by the community after watching one show entertainment in the form of situation comedy in one of the private TV. Namely Bajaj Bajuri sitcom soap opera that aired in Trans. Bajaj Bajuri is a sitcom soap opera whose story is packed in a funny story that contains moral messages for the general public. With this background, the writer wants to know is there any correlation between the pattern and exposure situation comedy impressions Bajaj Bajuri in Trans with satisfaction watching the community RT: 04 RW: 01 Kelurahan Ledok Kulon Bojonegoro. The theory used in this study is to use the theory of Uses and Gratifications. Where in this theory examines the origin of human needs, psychologically and socially, which raises a certain expectation of the mass media or other sources, leading to the pattern of exposure to media (media expossure) different / involvement in other activities and lead fulfilling the needs and other consequences, and perhaps also including what we do not want. Related to this research, the variables that exist in this study including the motive to watch as antisiden variable (X1), exposure of impressions as the independent variable (X2) and the satisfaction of watching as the dependent variable (Y). Where among these three variables is causal in nature. This research method is to use the survey method, namely the study who took the sample from the population and use quitionary as the principal means of data collection. The population in this study are members of the community RT: 04 RW: 01 Kelurahan Ledok Kulon Bojonegoro numbering 249 persons with certain characteristics. Among them are people who have television at home, people who never watch sitcoms Bajaj Bajuri min 1 time per week, sex male or female and aged between 25-35 years. While the sampling technique using a "simple random sampling." Sampling is done at random without regard to strata that exist in this population. And when calculated using the formula Yamane with precision of 1%, the number of samples obtained by 55 people. Techniques used in data collection questionnaire and documentary. While analyzing the data using a formula with a coefficient of double correlation with F test where previously will be sought first through a simple formula product moment correlation with t test Based on data analysis conducted by the researchers found that the multiple correlation coefficient r (multiple R) count of 0.727> r table product moment of 0.226. stating the degree of closeness of relationship between variables X1, X2 and Y variables simultaneously. Then the F test result is known that the calculated F value of 29.032> F tables (5%) of 3.175. So, therefore the working hypothesis that has been formulated previously are acceptable. That is no significant relationship psitif and between motifs and exposure sinetrons Bajuri Bajaj sitcom on Trans TV watching with satisfaction to the community. From the data analysis we can conclude that the overall level of satisfaction watching the community RT: 04 RW: 01 Kelurahan Ledok Kulon Bojonegoro included in the interval 0.600 to 0.799, which means included in the category of tight / strong
