Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon dizziness and forgery construction ideology and reality of the power system through the use of signs in a text ad. Is not only text ads are the commercial practice of hegemony that dominated the community, but the text public service ads (ILM), which uses billboard as the printed media loaded will network also signs that perpetuate the dominant system, such as we can see and get from ILM 'Come to the Garden of Reading Society' (TBM). Through qualitative research strategy using interpretatif Semiotik and made in the perspective of cultural studies with the technical documentation that is collecting data, the data obtained is presented and then examined and analyzed based on theory or interpreted Barthes, namely interpretation the denotatif and konotatif with myths and the ideology. Results from the study of meaning is implied ILM, Miss Indonesia show that the model as well as ambassador to ILM, 1) As Miss Indonesia Main Message trap has been in charmed readers, so let a message to TBM to be cast and not effective. 2) Miss Indonesia into practice tool hegemony and ideology materialistic system and capitalism neoliberalisme. 3) Miss Indonesia and a symbol of violence, that is a sign of a very smooth and not visible, so get legitimacy from the government and then finally by the people, who distortion image into a single dimension, namely a commercial dimension. Top of the results can be recommended to the people of that critical attitude is always required as a counter-hegemony of the system.
