Abstract

At private colleges or state, there is no significant difference in the character or type an variation student style (see World Student). At UMM itself, at least there is a diverse student cultures, religions, races and economic and environmental conditions to learn which of course creates a different type of style too. According to Prof. Dr. Malik Fadjar, M.Sc., there are three types of styles that is most striking students at this time, the style of UTun students (studying), students show themselves (Dr. Sarlito categorize the student activist) and a student from katut (The gentleman 'C '). Of the various types of styles available, will lead to diversity achievements obtained. 1. Based on the above background that the problem can be formulated as follows: How the relationship between economic conditions with the type in faculty of Islamic religion UMM students? 2. How the relationship between the type of FAI UMM students with learning achievement? 3. How the relationship between economic conditions FAI UMM students with learning achievement? From the results of research through observation techniques, documentation, and surveys involving respondents with a student population­Islamic edication UMM using a sample of 60 respondents (Students) are random then analyzed through chi square formula, then the analysis results obtained as follows: There the relationship between economic conditions and the type of Islamic religion faculty UMM students of learning achievement Although the results of this research has been able to note that the economic conditions of high, medium, low and there is no significant relationship to the type / style of such varying student (UTun students, student performance itself, and a student from katut), but it would be nice if the campus still needs to address it in order to be taken into consideration in determining the policy and made for student achievement motivation in particular and the university in general.
