Abstract

This research was done at PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia (BFPI) Banyuwangi titled “The Influence of Work Safety and healthy to Production Department Employee Work Productivity at PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia (BFPI) Banyuwangi” This research aimed to find out the influence of work safety and healthy to Employee Work Productivity at PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia (BFPI) Banyuwangi with 176 employee population by 44 employee samples and used random sampling according level or stratified random sampling. Employee work safety included: machinary safety, good tool, facility maintaining, safety tool, educate employee, prohibition, warning posters, and accident statistic data. Work healthy included: sound control, illumination arrangement, and facility preparation, temperature arrangement, employee needs service, clean maintenance, facility preparation. To the work productivity variable included: working time, product quality reached, work discipline and work skill. This research used multiple linear regression which was useful to find out functional relation hoped for population according to the samples. This relation influecned the work safety and healthy variables and making prediction stated by work safety and healthy value (x) according to work productivity (Y). The equation 0.731 means that corelatio between work safety and healthy program to productivity was strong, since the amount above 0,5. So if the work safety and healthy rate was high, so did the work productivity. Employee work productivity (Y) in total average productivity was 138,4 in category average scale 112-145 which means that work work productivity at PT. Blambangan Foodpackers Indonesia (BFPI) Banyuwangi was high. The writer suggested that work healthy should be considered carefuly since this variable is the most influenced variable to the employee work productivity.
